I definitely agree that students should be able to learn at their own pace. I love the background on your blog. The colors and background fit together nicely.
I would love to know how you plan to implement these ideas into your classroom. It sounds like a good approach, but keep in mind that the more levels of progress you have in one class, the less effective you will be in helping to make sure everyone gets to the same checkpoints and goals that you wanted. What about lower level learners? Or learners that need far more practice to get things down pat? What will your methods be?
